The Deeper Life High School says 174 of its students scored above 300 in the recently released Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Photos and scores of the students were displayed on the Facebook page of the school on Friday, with Ayeyemi Godsgift Ibunkunoluwa scoring the highest with 362 marks.
The school referred to the triumphant students as heroes and heroines. “Behold the DLHS 2024 UTME heroes and heroines; one hundred and seventy four (174) students who scored 300 and above! Congratulations to the Champions,” it said. In another post, Deeper Life High School said: “Despite JAMB’s announcement that only around 0.5% of candidates nationwide scored 300 and above in the 2024 UTME, an astounding one hundred and seventy four (174) students of DLHS exceeded expectations with flying colors by scoring 300 and above!”
Master Oluwatumise Benjamin Oluwanifemi got the second highest score from the school, with 356 marks, while Ogede Presley Angotualayefa scored the third highest mark from the school with 354. In 2023, a student of the school, Umeh Nkechinyere Precious got the highest UTME score nationwide. She scored 360 marks.
