Four passengers were burnt to death while eight others were injured in a lone crash involving a commercial bus along Ore-Ijebu Ode road, in Ogun State on Monday.
The public communication officer of Federal Road safety Corps in Ogun, CRC Florence Okpe identified the vehicle involved in the lone crash as a white Toyota Hiace Bus with the registration number XA690AKU.
According to the statement, the bus was loaded with 18 passengers made up of eight males and 10 females when the driver lost control, resulting in the crash.

The rescue team of FRSC at Ogbere rescued four females and four males who were seriously injured for treatment at the state hospital in Ijebu-Ode.
However, the corpse of the one male and three females who were burnt death have been deposited in the State Hospital morgue, the FRSC said.
Meanwhile, Ogun Sector Commander of FRSC, CC Akinwumi advised motorists to ensure they have the maximum rest before embarking on a journey to avoid such ghastly incidents.
He further urged drivers to observe the rest for 15 to 30 minutes after four hours driving.
