…Departs Lagos for Abuja
President Bola Tinubu is set to begin the commissioning of projects in Abuja, the nation’s capital, executed under the administration of Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
The projects commissioning is part of activities marking the one year anniversary of the President Bola Tinubu led administration which came into power in May 2023.
To this end, the President has departed the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos for Abuja.
As at 11:25 Am, he was seen off by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and some government officials.
While in Lagos, the President performed the official flag-off of the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island end of the 700 kilometer project, hailed as an economic and rural communities development game changer.
He also commissioned the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the Rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, as well as virtually commissioned the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the country.
While in Abuja, the President will be commissioning the southern Parkway from National Christian Centre to Ring road One, among others.
