Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has shared a challenging period she’s facing as her father battles a partial stroke.
In an emotional video shared on social media, Yvonne and her son visit her father in the hospital. She discussed the difficult times her family has endured, including the loss of two family members last month. Despite these hardships, she has managed to keep smiling.
Yvonne expressed her gratitude to God for her father’s speedy recovery. She urged her fans and followers to regularly check on their parents, sharing that two friends had recently informed her of similar health issues with their own parents.

“It has been such a terrible time for me and my family, but we prevail. From losing two family members last month to having this scare, I don’t know how I keep smiling, but I have to. We bless the most high for a speedy recovery. While this was going on, I got a message from 2 friends saying their parents were going through the same. Check on your parents, guys,” Yvonne said.
Yvonne Jegede is a Nigerian actress, film producer, model, and television personality; notable for producing “3 is Company”.
She rose to prominence after she made a cameo appearance in the music video African Queen by 2Face Idibia alongside Annie Macaulay.
Born in Agenebode, Edo state, Jegede made her debut into Nollywood in 2004 when she acted in the movie ‘Missing Angel’. After her debut and starting to rise she had to leave Nigeria to study abroad before she returned into movie industry couple years ago.
