Police rescue abducted Fouani brothers, boat crew

The Lagos Marine Police in collaboration with the Nigerian Navy, has rescued the three Fouani brothers who were kidnapped on June 14.
The brothers; Abbas, Youssef, and Amtal were said to have been abducted around 6pm when they were returning to Victoria Island from their factory in Apapa.
The Fouani brothers were kidnapped along with the crew of the boat they were traveling in. The brothers run Fouani Nigeria Ltd, an electronics distribution company.

The brothers, the boat driver and his assistant, were said to have been rescued at Orugbo Iddo.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the efforts of the Marine Police and the Nigerian Navy made the rescue possible.
He said: “They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo. Our marine police, with the support of the Nigerian Navy, brought them to shore”.
