    UGHELLI – The Bomadi Local Government Area Council Chairman of Delta State Hon Dagidi Andaye has sworn-in Mr. Famous Ofurobiri as secretary of council with a charge to bring in his wealth of experience as a one time Secretary of the Council Area.

    The Council Chairman, Andaye speaking during the swearing-in ceremony at his conference hall in the Bomadi Secretariat noted that the position of the secretary of council plays vital role, serving as the chief scribe, the secretary of the executive committee, and coordinator of the various departments in the Council.

    ” I charge you to see your appointment as a call to selfless service, dedicating yourself to the administration of the local government council with unwavering commitment, passion and a relentless focus on delivery results”.

    Andaye said, he acknowledged the enomous task before Ofurobiri having no doubt that together with the executive committee, legislative arm and career civil servants he would surmount all challenges.

    While congratulating him, he described Mr Ofurobiri as a dependable individual with meek of human kindness and humility. A Father figure whose advice and ideas have contributed the his political journey.

    In his remark , Mr Ofurobiri particularly thanked God almighty and Mr chairman for finding worthy to serve in his administration as the secretary to Bomadi council.

    Ofurobiri also thanked the Bomadi political class and the member Representing Bomadi Constituency Hon Kenneth Preyor for the wonderful presentation of him before the floor of the House in the State Assembly which invariably led to his itchefree screening in the House of Assembly.

    He expressed joy of over the mammoth crow and cream of leaders that come to felicitate with him pledging that the Council would run an open door policy where anyone with useful suggestions and ideas would be welcomed.
