The Riverine Peace Initiative in Niger Delta, RPIND, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship Candidate for the September 21st election, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, saying that governance is about integrity, transparency and empathy, which, the group said, were integrated in the APC candidate.
These were contained in a statement jointly signed by the National President, Comrade Toluwa Mulade and the secretary, Peter Germans after a stàkeholders meeting and made available to newsmen in Benin City.
According to the Peace Initiative group, good leadership is not about speaking good english but in leading the people with a human face.

“Gone are the days when we used to think that you must prove you are intelligent by speaking good English because history has shown that Countries that adopt their own indigenous language are the ones doing much better than the ones speaking the white Man language.”
“Edo People should not make the mistake of dwelling on the propaganda trending on social media to determine their votes, rather they should vote for Monday Okpebholo and experience leadership that will not undermine the people wellbeing,”.
“Monday Okpebholo is an indigenous man who has suffered with the people and understands the pains of the people better than any other candidates running for the Edo governorship election, therefore we are calling on Edo voters to give their votes to him to enable them to enjoy a better life”
