Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has urged Nigerians to cooperate and pray for the leadership of the Country to succeed.
He made the call today in commemoration of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
The Governor noted that the decay suffered by the Country for a long period calls for sacrifice, perseverance, and commitment for Nigeria to regain its glory.
“The challenges of insecurity, the economy, climatic and environmental factors require strategic and meticulous intervention.

Governor Buni charged traditional, religious, and opinion leaders to preach peace, tolerance, and cooperation to promote unity among Nigerians.
“We should explore our diversity to promote national unity, and we must not misuse our cultural, ethnic, and religious differences to the detriment of our national unity,” Governor Buni said.
According to the Governor, providing leadership at difficult and trying times calls for sacrifice, support, and unity to succeed.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria would soon overcome the challenges bedeviling it.
