Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has officially unveiled over 30 branded campaign vehicles.
While handing over the branded vehicles to all the party’s campaign coordinators across the 20 Local Government Areas of Ogun State, Ogun PDP’s governorship candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu boasted that he remained the only candidate that is capable of lifting the State from poverty, insecurity and poor economy.
He bemoaned the state’s high prevalence of poverty, which, in his opinion, has hindered the population from realizing its full potential.
“Since poverty has a wide-ranging effect, contributing to problems like crime, unemployment, bad health, marital violence, social vices, loneliness, and depression, as governor I will spearhead the fight against poverty in Ogun State”.
Adebutu said his administration would add value to the socio-economic standard of the State and urged members of the party to move out en-masse and mobilize more voters for the party during elections.
Deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Abdul Kabir Akinlade advised party members to go all out and mobilize votes for the party so as to ensure a landslide victory of the Party in the State.
The development, according to PDP Secretary, Dr. Sunday Solarin, is to make statement of support and commitment and urge the people to deliver the forthcoming election in their constituency for the PDP.
In his remark, the Ogun State PDP Chairman, Alh. Sikirullah Ogundele appreciated all the party faithful and advised them not to relent until the mission to rescue Ogun State is achieved.
