Borussia Dortmund delivered a stunning 7-1 victory over Celtic at Signal Iduna Park, thanks to Karim Adeyemi’s first-half hat-trick.
The German forward’s heroics helped Dortmund maintain their unbeaten home streak in the Champions League, now at 12 games.
The match began with a penalty awarded to Dortmund after Kasper Schmeichel brought down Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
Emre Can calmly converted the spot-kick in the 5th minute. Celtic responded quickly, with Daizen Maeda equalizing after capitalizing on Can’s lapse in concentration.
Adeyemi’s deflected strike regained Dortmund’s lead, followed by his brace with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.

Despite Adeyemi’s departure due to injury, Dortmund continued to dominate. Guirassy netted his second goal in the 66th minute, and Felix Nmecha added the seventh in the 79th minute, sealing Celtic’s joint-second heaviest Champions League loss.
