Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State has charged the Muslim Ummah in the state to engage in conversations that would promote the growth and unity of Benue state and the nation at large.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Sunday and signed by Sir Kula Tersoo, Chief Press Secretary (CPS), said that in felicitating with the Muslims, Governor Alia also charged them to reflect on the principles of Prophet Muhammad, who lived a life of kindness and compass.
The state governor further urged them to pray for the All Progressives Congress (APC), led administration, even as he pledged that his government would continue to deliver on its campaign promises.

According to Kula, “Governor Hyacinth Alia sends his felicitations to all the Muslim faithful in the state and country, on the occasion of this year’s Id el Maulud, a significant day which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
“The Governor urges all the Muslims to reflect on the principles of the Prophet’s life of kindness, compassion, and his role as a spiritual guide.
“He charges them to always engage in dialogues and conversations aimed at promoting the unity and growth of the state and country.
“The governor solicits for continued prayers and support for the APC led government, assuring that his administration will continue to do everything possible to deliver on its campaign promises”, he assured.
