Spanish striker Álvaro Morata on Saturday became the third top scorer in the history of the Euros with 7 goals.
The Atletico Madrid player accomplished the milestone after scoring a goal in Spain’s Euro 2024 win against Croatia.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid player scored Spain’s opening goal in their Euro 2024 opener against Croatia, which they won 3-0.
Only Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo (14) and former French player Michel Platini (9) have more goals than Morata.
It should be recalled that the Euro 2024 began on Friday night in Germany.
Spain’s next match is against Italy on Thursday.
