    The Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors have through to the Super 4 beach Soccer tournament as well as top the table in the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League(NBSL).

    The league is being held at the Moonshine Arena, Nnewi High School, Anambra state with many beach Soccer clubs slug it out with each other on the tournament that end on Saturday.

    At the end of the day 7, Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors moved to the top of the table after a brilliant performances against two top teams, Kebbi Beach Soccer Club and Kada Beach Soccer Club which have won the league on different seasons.

    The South East Beach Soccer jewels who placed third in the first round had lost a million Naira promised by the sole sponsor of Beach Soccer in Anambra state, Prof. Victor Mmadubuko.

    The trio of Anambra Warriors Kebbi Beach Soccer Club and Kada Beach Soccer Club are through to Super Four.

    It’s now remained Nmamko Patigi Beach Soccer Club and Kebbi United to struggle for the fourth slot according to the table.

    During the tournament, Warriors extended their unbeaten run at the tournament as they stood strong against Nigeria’s number one beach soccer club Kebbi Beach Soccer Club in the game that went into extra time and ended in penalties.

    The game ended 4-4 at regulation time and 6-5 on penalties with Stanley Ekwo scoring all the four goals.

    In the evening session, the warriors in what was a typical picture of a revenge mission trounced Kada Beach Soccer Club 8-4 to raise their hope of a permanent first position in the 2024 Nigeria Beach Soccer League second round.”
