Anunlopo who bagged an honorary doctorate in Leadership and Strategic Management was among prominent Nigerians who were honoured in various disciplines from the prestigious University of Brazil Campinas at the weekend.
His words: “The current hardship stemmed from unending security challenges between farmers and herders and the federal government should address the issues as a matter of urgency.”

He urged the Tinubu’s administration to urgently bring down the current exchange rate which is impacting negatively on the cost of doing business in Nigeria.
In his nomination letter signed by the African representative of the University, Dr Larry Ayodeji remarked “the award is in line with the vision of the University to recognize and reward accomplished and illustrious, corporate, religious and political figures who have distinguished themselves in their respective endeavors.”

Other eminent Nigerians honored at the ceremony held at the Center For Management Development (CMD) Magodo, Lagos on Friday include the Aare of Yorubaland, IBA Ganiyu Abiodun Adams, Otunba Isaac Amao Olasheni, Prince Olayinka Adepoju, Chief Mrs Abidemi Adebiyi, Engineer Bola Olushoga Sobo, Barrister Andrew Oru and Prophet Adedeji Sunday, among others.
The Guest Speaker, Dr Gabriel Sosanya who spoke on the theme: “Strengthening The Educational System To Achieve Sustainable Goals” enjoined the awardees not to relent in their leadership focus which was in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Goal of 2018.
Sosanya urged the awardees to make their watch word humility because ‘It will lead to recognition by other higher institutions. You should keep doing what made you to be recognized and never be arrogant in your day to day activities.”
His words: A good example is Dr Adewunmi Adesina who was honored recently by a Federal University in Nigeria in recognition of his advocacy in promoting agricultural development in Africa.”
Commenting on the theme of the conference, Special Guest of Honor, Dr Adebiyi Adesina, the CEO of Unique Group called on the Federal Government to make education free from the elementary to the secondary school level.
His words: “The government at all levels should emulate the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo who through free education for all in the first republic made Western Region a pace setter”.
