A group of young marauders fully armed with machetes, cutlass, axe, local guns, guns, sophisticated guns, have invaded the houses and shop owners within the Mushin Local Government Area.
Residents of Mushin Local Government Area now live in fear and tension as these marauders raid by robbing the residents of their valuables, money and destroyed anyone or anything that stand in their way and most times the raiding occurs between 1 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. before dawn. Some victims of the persistent attacks on a daily basis who reside along Itire/Mushin Road, Taiwo Street; off Bakare Street, Paul Okuntola Street, Olarenwaju Street off Alafia Road, all within Mushin Local Government Area narrated their experience, how the young marauders between the ages of 16 and 25 years of age break into their houses/ homes violently take away all their valuable belongings such as Iphones, Ipad, ATM cards, Laptop, food items, jewelry and money.
The devastating acts had been on a daily basis in the last two months till date.

The marauders are not intimated by police sirens, local security vigilantes. They move in groups of 100s, 50s, Local security operatives take to their heels and run for safety.
According to a local security operative who does not want his name to be mentioned said no sane human being who wants to live and take care of his family would wait and confront the group of young marauders.
Some of the residents of Olarenwaju Street, off Alafia Road who do not want their names to be mentioned reported the violence at the administrative headquarters at the Mushin Zone ‘D’ along Isolo/ Mushin Road but they were disappointed by what some of the police operatives on duty said that they should be careful and observant and if they notice any strange activity it should be reported for a follow-up by the police. Some of the residents said the step they took to report the incident worsened the entire situation as the young marauders stormed the environment again between the hours of 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. breaking into their homes and while escaping they started shouting “Ole Ole” to confuse the entire residents. By the time the police came in they were gone.
