At Effurun, in the Uvwie Local Government area of Delta State, military officials from the 3 Battalion Nigerian Army Barracks detained around 100 youths who were accused of being involved in online fraud.
After intelligence reports revealed the existence of a HK (Hustle Kingdom) School, which is renowned for educating would-be hackers, the arrests were carried out.
According to sources, operations on Saturday resulted in the detention of about 150 people.

It was said that the purported proprietor of the HK school was also detained, along with his accomplices.
The accused have been turned over to the Ekpan, Uvwie, police for additional examination and possible prosecution.
When contacted, SP Bright Edafe, the Delta police spokesperson, confirmed the arrests but did not elaborate on how the individuals were taken into custody.
