Arsenal beat Manchester United by a lone goal at Old Trafford on Sunday to move back to the top of the English Premier League.
Arsenal will be hoping that defending champions, Manchester City drop points or lose to Tottenham on Tuesday to put them in good position to win the Premier League for the first time in 20 years.
The Gunners went to Old Trafford knowing full well that they must pick a win or burst and they signalled their intention from the blast of the whistle.
Arsenal got the needed goal in the 20th minute of the game. A sublime pass across goal by Kai Havertz evaded the goalkeeper and allowed Leandro Trossard to tap the ball into an empty net.

Nine minutes later, Ben White sent in a shot from a promising distance after a precise pass. His effort went inches over the crossbar.
In the 77th minute, Alejandro Garnacho received a brilliant pass and wasted a big opportunity as his shot from inside the penalty area flew narrowly wide of the left post.
Two minutes later, Gabriel Martinelli cut inside his marker and unleashed a rocket of a shot from inside the box. The ball flew towards the roof of the net, but it was kept out by magnificent save from Andre Onana.
Declan Rice, in the 83rd minute blew a good opportunity. He had a lot of space around him and fired a terrific shot from the edge of the box towards the bottom right corner, but the goalkeeper made a brilliant save and stopped the ball.
