Arsenal thrashed 10-man Liverpool 3-1 on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium to go second in the premier league table.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 14th minute of the game. Kai Havertz fired a promising shot which ricocheted off the goalkeeper back to Saka inside the box and he sent the ball into the back of the net.
Liverpool equalised three minutes into the first half from an own goal. Gabriel, attempting to intercept an offensive pass, scored an own goal and made it 1-1.
In the 64th minute, a terrible mistake led to Arsenal’s second goal. The defender ended up losing possession, allowing Gabriel Martinelli to pick up the ball before slotting it into the back of the net to make it 2:1.

In the 77th minute, Alexis Mac Allister volleyed the ball on the edge of the box after a rebound. It was a great effort and had David Raya scrambling, but it flew just wide of the right post.
In the 84th minute, Jakub Kiwior looked very eager to impress, did well to beat his man and forced a cross into the box, where one of his teammates got his head on the ball, but it was too easy for the keeper.
In the 88th minute, Ibrahima Konate was issued a second yellow card and was sent off.
Two minutes into added time, Leandro Trossard displayed superb quick feet and dribbling as he jinked his way through multiple challenges and took a shot from inside the box, which was deflected and went past stranded Alisson.
