ONITSHA – The Obidient Movement South-East Good Governance Symposium 2024, organized by Anambra State Support Groups, ended on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the All Saints’ Cathedral Auditorium, Onitsha, Anambra State.

It had the National Leader and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, as the Special Guest of Honour.

In his speech on the occasion, the National Coordinator of the Obedient Movement, Dr. Tanko Yunusa, expressed strong confidence that Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, will secure victory in the 2027 presidential race.

EXPOSED!! POPULAR ABUJA DOCTOR REVEALED HIDDEN SECRET ON HOW MEN CAN NATURALLY AND PERMANENTLY CURE POOR ERECTION,QUICK EJACULATION, SMALL AND SHAMEFUL MANHOOD WITHOUT SIDE EFFECTS. EVEN IF YOU ARE HYPERTENSIVE OR DIABETIC ..STOP THE USE OF HARD DRUG FOR SEX!! IT KILLS!

Yunusa attributed this optimism to Obi’s impressive track record and public support.

According to him, “History will not repeat itself. In 2023, Obi’s victory was denied through electoral malpractice, but this time, we are determined to ensure fair play.”

He said that the movement is committed to pushing for electoral reforms, deploying adequate agents at polling units, as well as advocating the appointment of an INEC chairman by the public rather than the president.

Dr Tanko, argued that the one-day symposium was focused on strengthening and repositioning the movement for greater impact and strategic development.

The event entitled ‘Repositioning the Obidient Movement For Greater Impact’, was also aimed at reaffirming the Obidient Movement’s dedication to Peter Obi’s unified Nigeria vision, he added.

“Following the formalization and restructuring of the ‘Obidient Movement’, this symposium aims to harmonize efforts, reinforce the Movement’s organisational structure and unify its mission to uphold social and political cohesion, ethical leadership, and purpose-driven advocacy,he pointed.

Delivering the keynote address at the symposium, Prof. Pat Utomi, underscored the need for collective action through movements like the Obidient Movement to bring about meaningful change in Nigeria.

According to Utomi, “This movement is about sacrifice, and together, we can make Nigeria a new one,”

Pro. Utomi, a Management expert, called for synergy and pro-activeness among Obidient Movement members, emphasizing that collective action leads to a brighter future.

He further urged the people of the South-East geopolitical zone to remain focused and united with a view to building a greater Nigeria.

“I am also grateful for the reaffirmation of the August 21, 2024 endorsement of my candidacy when the leadership and members of all the Obedient Support Groups in Nigeria threw their weight behind me for the November 8, 2025 Anambra Gubernatorial election.

“Our problems and challenges in Anambra are getting more complex, grievous and multifaceted. There is a continuing slide into daylight terrorism, social oppression, retrogressive policies, constitutional abuse, executive recklessness and infrastructural neglect that has cast serious doubts that question the integrity and competence of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo-led government. The social contract with Ndi Anambra is broken, neglected and abandoned, eroding hope, trust and confidence in the ability of the administration to pilot the affairs of the State.

“Ndi Anambra, in their disappointment, disillusionment and helplessness are yearning for change as it is becoming increasingly obvious that there is no Dubai Taiwan in the offing.

“I am therefore most humbled that the leaders and members of 46 diverse Obidient Support Groups, including the influential Big 6 – Peter Obi Support Network, Women for Peter Obi, Take Back Naija, Nigeria Needs Peter Obi, UpNorth Ambassadors for Peter Obi, and Coalition For Peter Obi – are rallying behind me in this quest to liberate Anambra from the claws of mediocrity enthroned by authoritarian, clueless and incompetent leadership. My special gratitude to God Almighty for this privilege. I also thank my Leader, Mr Peter Obi, for setting the pace that we now follow. I thank him for being a source of hope when Nigeria needed it the most and is still needing it.

“I thank all other people in our Obidient Movement, particularly Dr. Tanko Yunusa, Dr. Mo Paul, Okon Lagos, Nana Kazaure, Ibrahim Abdulkarim, Ikenna Azomchine, Mazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, Dan Elombah and all the committee members that made this happen.” maintained that the Obidient Movement’s goal of advancing Nigerian interests was in order, calling on all their members to remain united while working toward a better Nigeria.

“I have distributed a document titled, ‘Ka Anambra Chawapu’. The document contains policies for a better, brighter and more prosperous Anambra, which when implemented will ensure that Anambra is better off than what the state currently is. The people must come together to ensure that they wrestle power from the incumbent,” he intimated.
