    The Senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial district, Shehu Umar Buba has paid a condolence visit to the family of the slain Charcoal Seller who was allegedly killed by some members of hunters in Zaranda village of Toro local government area of Bauchi State.

    Recall that last week, one charcoal seller was been killed while one other person was injured in a clash that involved local hunters in Zaranda village of Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

    Senator Buba who was fielding questions from journalists shortly after visiting the bereaved family in the Zaranda community, described the incident as unfortunate and vowed to take legal action in order to ensure that the deceased and the injured person get justice.

    “This is my hometown and I came purposely for a condolence visit in connection with the tradegy that happened in this Zaranda community of Toro LGA where one person was brutally killed while another was injured by some group of militia led by one shayi”

    “What I was told was that the youths were on their lawful business of the selling of charcoal when they were attacked, shot with a gun that led to the death of one of the youths. I am assuring that we will take every legal action concerning this matte,” he said.

    The Senator disclosed of plans to construct three rural roads in his constituency and that the contract will be flagged off in the next two weeks in the local government.

    “The construction of the roads is in my constituency project of the 2024 budget, the contract has been awarded.The construction of the road in Narbodo is 2km, the other one in Rimin Zayam is 2km while the one in Zaranda is one and half kilometers,” he said.
