Daniel Ogunmodede, the Super Eagles assistant coach, has said the team would approach the fast approaching 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the duo of Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Abidjan, their adopted home, and the Amavubi of Rwanda in Uyo as cup finals.
The three times African champions will face the Cheetah of Benin in the match-day five of the qualifier before hosting the Amavubi in the final match day.
The Remo Stars coach said their target is to secure maximum points from both matches.

“I’m not aware we needed just one point to qualify so we just want to win regardless of the number of points left to qualify.
“First, the priority is for us to qualify, and secondly, according to the head coach, to win all games as they come and a maximum of three points is what is important to us.”
Nigeria Will all but sealed qualification for the three biannual competition to be staged in Morocco if they pick a point against their neighbours, Benin Republic, in their match on Thursday. However, the Austin Eguavoen-led side would want to fully get the better of their hosts in order to make it seamless in the qualifiers.
The Super Eagles were the runners up in the last Cup of Nations where the hosts piped them 2-1 in the finals, coming from a goal down which was scored by the eventual tournament’s best player, William Troost-Ekong.
