Bobrisky ‘Arrested’ At Seme Border While Fleeing Nigeria, Says VeryDarkMan
In an apparent effort to escape from Nigeria to the neighboring Benin Republic, controversial celebrity crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known by his stage name Bobrisky, was reportedly detained by Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) agents at the Seme border.
Social media activist Martin Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), revealed this on Monday through an Instagram post. VDM claims that during the House of Representatives’ ongoing investigation into bribery allegations against officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) regarding the crossdresser, Bobrisky was detained by Nigerian immigration officers while attempting to flee.
VDM showed a message he got in the video, which said “Bobrisky was arrested this morning at Seme border post on his way to escape to Benin Republic. He sent someone to help him sign his international passport, and he hid in his car. The Nigerian immigration service is currently holding him.”

Since then, VDM has contacted Bobrisky and the Nigerian Immigration Service to address the rumors and provide clarification on the circumstances.
The crossdresser was supposed to appear before a House of Representatives congressional subcommittee when he was allegedly arrested.
Bobrisky was previously invited in relation to audio recordings that were released, in which he allegedly claimed to using a wealthy “Godfather” to bribe his way out of jail and to have the EFCC drop its money laundering investigation against him.
