Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has expressed thoughts of suicide and wiped her Instagram account following the ongoing N15 million bribery saga. Bobrisky, who was released from prison on August 5 after serving a six-month sentence for currency misuse, has been entangled in serious allegations related to bribery.

The controversy began when Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, shared an audio recording online, alleging that Bobrisky paid N15 million to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop charges against her. The recording quickly went viral, sparking widespread discussions.

However, Bobrisky has since denied the accusations, labeling the recording as “fake.” She firmly stated that no bribe was paid to the anti-corruption agency, asserting, “I served my term in prison.”

The EFCC has responded by launching an official investigation into the bribery claims, with its chairman, Ola Olukoyede, ordering an immediate probe. Both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan have been summoned by the commission for questioning.

Adding to the controversy, Nigerian rapper Falz appears to have lent credibility to parts of the allegations. In a letter to VeryDarkMan, Falz confirmed that Bobrisky reached out to him for financial assistance, requesting N3 million to pay certain officials for a VIP section in prison. Falz stated that he declined the request.

Amid these developments, Bobrisky took to her Instastory on Thursday, sharing the emotional toll the accusations have had on her mental health. In a heartfelt post, she revealed, “I have never thought about suicide in my life until now,” emphasizing that she is not seeking sympathy but rather understanding and support.

Bobrisky expressed her pain, writing, “It’s heartbreaking to see what people do to bring others down. I don’t need anyone’s sympathy. The only people I would’ve needed it from are my late parents. Who will fight for you? Friends? Haters, you’ve won.”

In response to the overwhelming stress, Bobrisky has since deleted all posts, pictures, and videos from her Instagram account, leaving fans and followers in shock. The unfolding situation continues to draw attention as the investigation progresses.
