In the midst of bribery allegations involving him and representatives of the Nigerian Correctional Service and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, underfire social media personality and crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, recently revealed that he is feeling hopeless and considering suicide.

An incriminating audio tape was released by fellow influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. It claimed that Bobrisky had paid EFCC officials ₦15 million in bribes to have his money laundering accusations against them dropped.

Bobrisky, nevertheless, vented his annoyance over the public criticism on Thursday by using his official Instagram profile. In the since-deleted message, he disclosed that he had considered suicide.

In a striking confession, Bobrisky wrote, “I have never in my life thought about suicide… but now it’s coming to my head seeing what human beings are doing to their fellow human just because you don’t like them.”

Bobrisky was accused of trying to buy prison officials’ release from jail so he could serve his time in a luxury apartment.

The voice note that started the incident also included Femi Falana, a human rights lawyer, which increased the gravity of the situation.
Bobrisky has made it clear that he does not seek sympathy from anyone, despite what may seem like a cry for help.

He continued by saying that only his departed parents could have offered the consolation required during this trying period.

The social media post concluded with Bobrisky seemingly accepting defeat to his haters, stating that they had “won the battle.”

In response to bribery charges involving the Nigerian Correctional Service and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the House of Representatives has opened an investigation.
