Nigerian rising star Boi GT, whose real name is Eyasevwe Thankgod, has urged his fans to be patient as he and his team are working on a magical project. The rapper and Afropop artiste dropped this message while speaking with journalists at a music event in Lagos.

Boi GT confirmed that he is under immense pressure from fans to release another project after “Area Boys,” but he is taking his time to ensure he delivers another hit. “I receive over a hundred messages at times. Fans keep sending DMs demanding another song, but I love to take my time. I respect my fans a lot, so I am not willing to just drop a song but to drop a legacy.”

Boi GT also took the opportunity to thank his fans worldwide. The rising star promised not to disappoint them. “To be honest, I am amazed by the level of love I receive every day. Sometimes I check the data and I see people listening to my song from countries in Asia. It is a privilege I will never abuse. I really appreciate the love of my fans.”

He added that his fans should look forward to his collaborations with many great artistes and reiterated that his songs will be nothing short of excellence.
