The most followed and watched grassroots football tournament in the south east, the Coal City Football League, BỌỌLỤ OGBE, on Sunday September 8, 2024 unveiled the Enugu based philanthropist, Dr Emmanuel Onyeka Okoh popularly known as Okwuluora Ndi Igbo as the face of BỌỌLỤ OGBE.
The event happened in the recently concluded BỌỌLỤ OGBE Super Cup match which featured the Season 4 defending Champion Obiagu against the Super 4 Champion Uwani.
The match which ended in a 1:1 draw in 90 minutes went into penalties with Uwani winning the first ever BỌỌLỤ OGBE Super Cup.
The kick off for the Season 5 edition would start on September 15 with Coal Camp playing against Achara Layout, venue is CIC magnificent stadium.
The philanthropist and face of BỌỌLỤ OGBE, Okwuluora Ndi Igbo shared some giveaways during the half time including an Ulefone mobile phone worth N750,0000 which was won by a lucky fan, while many fans won android phones worth N350,000, smartwatches, power banks, air Pods and other consolation prizes.
Commenting on what inspired the organizers of BỌỌLỤ OGBE to select Okwuluora Ndi Igbo as the Face of the Football Tournament, Amb. Domben Chisom said:
“Okwuluora has been a great philanthropist and has done many humanitarian services like taking people out of poverty.”
also people with ailments that need kidney transplant and other diseases have benefitted from his good deeds. With all these, he is an epitome of humanitarianism and deserves to be unveiled as the face of BỌỌLỤ OGBE. He was one of the ambassadors of BỌỌLỤ OGBE but as regards to the representation, we have chosen Okwuluora due to his impact in both football and sports in general.”
