KANO – The Chairman, Kano state Chapter of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Alhaji Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa on Thursday warned President Tinubu to review his anti people’s policy or face the music in 2027.
Alhaji Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa who hosted Reporters in his office said “the president has done so many things wrong that offend the Nigerian people irrespective of ethno religious and cultural boundaries” stressing that only a holistic reversal could assist him to regain their confidence.
“We never had a President that fired anti people’s policy from the podium, and thereafter roll out controversial policy that have knocked down her citizens to comatose one after the other”, Dungurawa said.
He stressed that the “tax Reform bill by Mr. President is one anti people’s policy too many, and we are made to understand that if I die today certain percent will be yanked off my inheritance to government purse”
“My advise to Mr. President is you either change, or we change you in 2027”, Dungurawa warned
Dungurawa said President Bola Tinubu’s anti-people policies have already given Kwankwaso leverage in the next general elections”.

He said the NNPP has opened offices and formed structures in the states and local government across the Federation, stressing that this is a clear indication that NNPP would win both state and federal seats come 2027.
The Chairman noted that his party has recorded tremendous successes in the year 2024, he said befitting strategies have been mapped out to achieve more in 2025.

Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa maintained that the only challenge they are facing is alleged plans by the federal government to make the country a one-party system.
He advised the federal government to intensify efforts in providing laudable policies that would alleviate the sufferings of the people and desist from introducing any policy which is against the yearning and aspirations of the general populace.
He debunked rumours that the National Leader of NNPP Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will decamp to the All Progressive Congress, saying it was a mere allegation to tarnish the image of their leader.
