Super Eagles’ Samuel Chukwueze has a great chance of starting in the Serie A match between Milan and Venezia this weekend.
The Milan attacking winger clearly starts behind Pulisic in the pecking order, but against Venezia he could start the San Siro match as a starter.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fonseca could give Pulisic a rest, back from his commitments with the United States national team. A huge opportunity for the former Villarreal player to demonstrate his worth in front of the Rossoneri crowd.
Meanwhile, Luca Diddi spoke to MilanNewsit about the Nigerian: “The pre-season was misleading. There was some enthusiasm and players like Saelemaekers and Chukwueze were looking for redemption.”
Chukwueze who started Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali and was replaced at half-time by coach Augustine Eguavoen with Nantes’ Moses Simon, is expected back in Milan today.
