Nigerian singer Ckay was accused of lying after he posted receipts of N1,000,000 he sent to his fans, Ajiroba Faith Oyinkansola and Ebuka Okoro.

According to the receipts posted by the singer, Oyinkansola and Okoro (with Twitter handle @ibmk_inc) got a gift of N1, 000,000 each on Monday after they proved themselves as staunch supporters.

CKay had on Sunday, Christmas day promised to give one million naira to anyone who can reveal his state of origin and the state he was born in.

“Merry Christmas!!! 🎄💜✨ Today I’m giving ONE Million Naira to ONE person in the comment section. What state am I from and what state was I born in?👇🏾” he wrote.

On Monday, he posted receipts showing Oyinkansola and Okoro as winners.

However, Nigerians on Twitter resisted the receipts hook, line, and sinker.

One Olumide @holexis1 wrote: “No offense @ckay_yo though I didn’t participate in your little game, the point is your little game looked rigged because the winner is literally obsessed with you and it’s guaranteed you know him or have noticed him on social media a lot.”

@Ybnl_comedian said: “I sabi(know) this scope but I no go (will not) talk.”

@Myxtique wrote: “CKay, this doesn’t seem right because I had to go through the TL of the person you sent the money to and it seems like he is someone that has a personal relationship with you. Celebrities lie a lot but we will always see it and say it the way it is.”

Another commentator said: “Na your padi you credit man. He didn’t even answer the question you asked. Padi padi giveaway.”
