Nigerian global music star, Davido and Ghanian music star, Stoneboy, have landed in Qatar ahead of their respective performances to round up the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Davido is billed to perform at the closing ceremony on Sunday, December 18, while Stoneboy will perform at the fan festival on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Doha.
In a photo that has been shared on social media, the two artists were in the company of Assistant Ghana Coach, George Boateng, after touching down in Doha.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will come to an end on Sunday as defending champions France will face a Lionel Messi-led Argentina in the final.
Chinese billionaire, Stephen Hung, had revealed the exciting news that Davido would perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup last week
The development came as a cheerful news for many Nigerians and fans of the music icon in many parts of the world as it would be his first public performance since he lost his son, Ifeanyi, in October.
Hung, who shared the news via his Instagram story wrote, “So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
