“I would have loved to have played in the Club World Cup. It is life; that is how things are. It is one of my regrets, actually. I was really happy to go to Abu Dhabi to watch Chelsea win it,” Drogba was quoted as saying by Give Me Sports.
The former Ivory Coast international played for the West London outfit from 2004 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2015.
Drogba was immensely successful as a striker at Chelsea, where he netted 164 goals and recorded 88 assists in 381 appearances.
