The Edo Resident Electoral Commissioner, Anugbum Onuoha, says the results of the Edo Governorship election, are still being collated at the wards.
Onuoha who was speaking as a guest on Channels Television, said that the commission had yet to receive results from the Local Government Areas.
He said: “I cannot categorically tell you when we will announce the results in the state. As they come, we will announce. For now, no results yet”.

The REC also admonished the members of the public to disregard the unverified results being shared on social media.
“I want to correct one thing: those who are publishing results, it is not their duty to announce results,” Onuoha stated.
He said: “INEC has not announced results. I am not even the returning officer for the state. The returning officer will announce the results. But I am surprised with what I see on social media. That is not the correct position of the commission”.
