A yet- to- be identified operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has committed suicide at his residence in Abuja.
It was learnt that the operative, a member of Course 5 took his life on Monday. was described as diligent, efficient, and unassuming.
Spokesperson for the EFCC Mr. Dele Oyewale confirmed the incident to PRNigeria.
He added that investigation is going on to find out why the operative described as diligent decided to take his life.

However, sources in the Commission told PM NEWS that the operative has been having problems with his immediate boss, a woman for sometimes now.
But it was not certain if this was responsible for the decision of the operative to put an end to his life.
The anti-graft agency has not released the name of the operative as investigation is still ongoing, sources within the commission said.
