A staff of Fidelity Bank, Emmanuel Ebere, has reported slumped and died. He was attached to the Ikoyi branch of the bank.
Ebere was said to have slumped and died on Wednesday.
He was confirmed dead after he was rushed to the military hospital.
The deceased was attached to the Information and Communication Technology unit of the bank.
According to the Vanguard, the death of Ebere has thrown staff of Fidelity Bank into mourning.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Lagos Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundenyi, confirmed Ebere’s death.
He said the incident occurred around 6.30 am.
According to him, based on the report, a team of detectives from the Ikoyi Division visited the hospital and examined the corpse.
Hundeyin said no mark of violence was seen on the body.
He added that the corpse had been evacuated and deposited at the Marina General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
