A two-term ,ember of the House of Representatives, Bishop Alex Ukam, has commended President Bola Tinubu and the 10th National Assembly for the reversal to the old National Anthem, describing it as a necessary move to ignite the true sense of patriotism and brotherhood amongst Nigerians.
He has also called on Nigerians to be patient, hopeful and prayerful as President Bola Tinubu is working to reposition the country.
Ukam who is the Federal Commissioner Representing Cross River State in the National Population Commission (NPC), said the president is on track to right the wrongs he inherited in order to change the negative narratives bedevilling the nation at the moment.
In a statement of congratulations on Tinubu’s one year anniversary, Ukam urged Nigerians: “Let’s be prayerful, hopeful and patient with Mr. President as he continues to put his very best to revamp and redeem the nation from her current difficulties.
“I vehemently believe that with God by our side, our difficult times will soon be over and Nigeria shall prosper even more under President Bola Tinubu.”
Ukam highlighted the gains of the present administration since inception.
He rated Tinubu high in areas of accessibility, dedication to service and outstanding performance in nearly governance.
“I want to thank Mr. President for the giant strides so far recorded; his uncommon patriotism, courage and firmness to build a Nigeria of our dreams, where we can all be proud of, makes him an exceptional leader, mentor and father of the nation”.
He noted that the president’s determination and zero tolerance to corruption, were qualities he has exhibited this one year.
