A tanker carrying Petrol, went up in flames while delivering fuel to a Conoil station at the Area 10 of Abuja, the PUNCH reports.
Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that the fire started sometime around 3:35 pm on Saturday afternoon, while the tanker was trying to offload its contents, and some of the fuel spilt.
While no lives have so far been reported lost, our correspondent noted a couple of cars, had been affected by the flames and burnt.
As of the time of filing this report, traffic to the area has been blocked by officers of the Nigerian Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps, while men of the Federal and Army Fire Service battle to quench the raging flames.
