LAGOS – Buba Galadima, a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has named Rabiu Kwankwaso as the politician who could have excelled more than President Bola Tinubu.
Galadima discussed this on Channels Television’s “Politics Today” on Friday night, September 27, highlighting Kwankwaso’s superior capabilities.

Galadima’s support for Kwankwaso comes at a time of increasing criticism of President Tinubu’s administration. He criticized the current administration’s focus on personal gain over national development, stating, “They are not interested in developing Nigeria, but rather in growing their pockets.”
Galadima emphasized the need for leadership by example, stressing the importance of integrity and grassroots connection in leaders. He pointed to the Dangote Skill Acquisition Centre in Kano as a prime example of empowering youth through skills training.
It’s worth noting that Kwankwaso served as governor of Kano State from 1999 to 2003 and from 2011 to 2015. He also ran in the 2023 presidential election, garnering nearly 1.5 million votes.
