DAMATURU – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by the National Chairmdan, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was today in Damaturu to commiserate with the government and people of Yobe state over the unfortunate attack on Mafa village by Boko Haram insurgents.
Dr. Ganduje said the NWC was in the state to identify with the government and people of the state at this trying moment of callous attack and senseless killing of innocent people.
“We are part of the Yobe family; we feel the pain and sorrow suffered by the government and people of Yobe state, and we are here to condole with our brothers and sisters over this very sad incident,” Ganduje said.
The Chairman called on the government and security agencies to strengthen the existing synergy to effectively fight the menace.

He consoled the families of the victims, expressing optimism that the state would soon come out of it by the special grace of God.
Governor Mai Mala Buni commended the NCW for identifying with the government and people of the state over the sad incident.
“This visit gives us a sense of belonging, we feel cared for by the party and the leadership.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Yobe state, l thank you and appreciate you for coming,” Gov. Buni said.
He assured the cooperation of his administration for improved synergy with the security agencies.
The Governor so assured support of the state government to the army, police, other security organizations, and the vigilante group to beef up security across the state.
