According to him, “Two of our members have lost their lives. 27 have been hospitalized since the demolition started on Sunday.

“Our people’s means of livelihood have been destroyed.

“We appeal to the Olubadan to assist us in halting further demolitions. They should cease the ongoing work for a more constructive dialogue.”

“They should compensate for the damages to our goods. The planned demolition of the remaining shop should be halted.

We have no official representation; we speak for ourselves, so no one should act on our behalf without our consent.
