Germany delivered a dominant performance to crush Hungary 5-0 in their UEFA Nations League match, showcasing attacking flair and clinical finishing.

The scoring opened in the 27th minute when Niclas Füllkrug found the back of the net after an assist from Jamal Musiala.

The Bayern Munich star set up Füllkrug with an easy tap-in into an empty net, giving Germany a 1-0 lead.

Germany almost doubled their lead in the 33rd minute when Kai Havertz leapt high to meet a lofted cross inside the six-yard box, only for his powerful header to crash off the crossbar.

Jamal Musiala, who was instrumental throughout the match, made it 2-0 with an incredible individual effort in the 58th minute.

His strike from inside the penalty area was too powerful for Hungary’s goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who could only watch as the ball hit the back of the net.

Just eight minutes later, Germany extended their lead to 3-0, with Musiala again involved. This time, he set up Florian Wirtz, whose shot from the edge of the box flew into the bottom left corner.

Germany continued to pile on the pressure, and in the 72nd minute, Havertz was unlucky not to score, hitting the crossbar for the second time after a rebounded effort.

The fourth goal came in the 77th minute when Aleksandar Pavlovic fired a shot from outside the box. Though not the most precise, the low drive found its way into the middle of the net, leaving Gulacsi stranded.

Germany completed the rout in the 81st minute when Havertz finally got on the scoresheet from the penalty spot. After drawing the foul, he calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right corner, making it 5-0.

The comprehensive victory solidifies Germany’s dominant position in the UEFA Nations League as they continue to impress with their fluid attacking play.
