The internet buzzed with reactions after a video surfaced showing President Bola Tinubu slipping while boarding a presidential parade vehicle at Eagle Square in Abuja.
The incident occurred during the 2024 Democracy Day celebrations on Wednesday.
President Tinubu had arrived at Eagle Square for the ceremony and was climbing the parade truck when he misstepped momentarily.
Despite the slip, he quickly regained his balance with the help of his security aides and continued with the proceedings.

Dada Olusegun, the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Social Media, downplayed concerns over the incident.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “Mr President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues.”
