ABUJA – As part of the sidelines events of the just concluded Canada-Nigeria Business Summit, the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has called on Diaspora Investors particularly Nigerians and their Partners in Canada to come to Niger State to trigger an agricultural revolution.
Governor Bago informed the Diaspora Business Community in Toronto, Canada, that, Niger State is not only ready for the establishment of Livestock Markets but has also signed Four Component Agreements with the Brazilian Government in Sugar Plantation Agriculture.

NiDCOM on Monday said the governor also added that he has set aside of a gift of 100 hectares of land for Nollywood, offer for land and farm implements for Diaspora agriculture in Niger State.

Similarly, Sen Victor Umeh, Chairman Senate Committee on Diaspora, Non Governmental Organizations and Civil Societies, gave assurances of support by the National Assembly for robust legislations that will encourage Diaspora invstment for homeland development.
