Lebanon was subjected to yet another round of attacks on Wednesday following the devastating pager blasts on Tuesday that left over 2,800 people injured and 12 people dead.

Explosions targeting walkie-talkies, confirmed by Hezbollah to be used by the group, caused further casualties. At least three people were killed and 100 injured in cities across the country, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.

According to a senior security source, the explosions were “small in size,” much like the ones that happened on Tuesday. Pictures of broken communication equipment, such as the Icom IC-V82 two-way radio, went viral. Israel is to fault for both assaults, according to Hezbollah and the Lebanese government, with Hezbollah promising a “just retaliation.”

Israel has not claimed responsibility, but reports suggest they may have planted explosives in Hezbollah-purchased pagers.
