The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the fatal stabbing of a Bishop, Sina Olaribigbe, allegedly by a jealous husband who suspected him of having an affair with his wife.
Olaribigbe was Bishop of Rapture Empowerment International, Oshogbo, Osun State.
CSP Yemisi Opalola, the command’s spokesperson, disclosed the incident on Thursday in Osogbo.
According to Opalola, the tragic event occurred when the husband found the bishop at his estranged wife’s residence and acted out of suspicion and rage.
“The couple are not living together, though they are not legally separated,” Opalola explained.
