Popular Lagos-based pastor and founder Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele had earlier predicted that Cp Adegoke Fayoade would be the next Lagos State Commissioner of Police.
Primate Ayodele, while speaking with this reporter in his office on November 10, said “God told me that Adegoke Fayoade will take the mantle of leadership as Commissioner of Police in Lagos”.

I then suggested we call Fayoade to inform him, which the Primate obliged.
A call was immediately put through to him at exactly 6:42 pm and primate Ayodele pointedly told him, saying: “By God’s grace you are the next Lagos Commissioner of Police. You are a well-trained police officer. I know you when you were with the former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande.”
Barely a month after on Tuesday 12 December, the man Adegoke Mustapha Fayoade was announced as the new Lagos State Commissioner of Police, taking over from Idowu Omohunwa who has also been promoted to the position of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG.
