actor and banker, Adekanla Desalu, aka Deza the Great, has admitted that he was once foolishly in love.

Speaking about his memorable love experience, he told “Love is not only about mushy expressions because feelings surface and sometimes fade away.

“To love is to sacrifice, care, correct, support, fight and build with one’s partner.

“When one finds someone one can do those things with without a second thought, then one can always have the mushy feelings.”

He added, “Yes, I have been in love. My first shot at ‘pure love’ was when I was 19 years old, and I was head over heels in love with a certain girl. However, she did not feel the same way about me. That was the first time I realised that love, as an emotion, is never enough.”

On the most expensive gift he has ever given a lover, the actor said, “The most expensive gift I have ever given cost about $5,000.”
