On Wednesday, the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court sentenced 23-year-old Dare Alamu to nine months in prison for stealing chicks valued at ₦380,000.
The court, presided over by Oluwabusayo Osho, convicted Alamu on a single charge of theft after he admitted his guilt. The judge decided against offering an option for a fine, ruling that Alamu should serve his sentence at the Agodi Correctional Facility in Ibadan.
