As Muslims ummah across Nigeria brace for maulud celebration in a symbolic mark of prophet Muhammad birthday, governor of Kebbi state, Dr Nasir Idris, has called on Muslims across the globe to unite in peace and to pray for president Tinubu and the country as a whole.

In a statement signed by his special adviser on Communication and strategy, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris Zuru stated that Idris has joined mauludians to celebrate with them and to admonish them to promote peace and unity of the country by staying law abiding ” the celebration has afforded you an opportunity to pray hard for country and to reflect on your actions good or bad with a view to repenting and switching to good things that pleases Allah the governor has said “.
Idris added that we have within one year in office demonstrated our ability and willingness to meet the demands of Kebbi people as much as we can, we have been able to give the state a new facelift and doing much in education, agriculture and social welfare which is the policy thrust of our administration ” all we ask is your support and prayers ,on our part we will strive to meet your most pressing demands in all the sectors.
Maulud is an annual celebration by Muslims faithful to mark the birth of revered prophet Muhammad PBH.
