An Indrive cab driver named Francis Njoku, who was alleged to have taken a package unlawfully, has warned that he plans to take legal action against actress Adunni Ade.
Their dispute originated from the driver supposedly declining to drop off the actress’s package after completing the trip.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Adunni accused the driver of driving away with her package and ignoring her phone calls.
“@indrive.ng I have contacted you for hours but no response. One of your drivers has stolen my package. He ended the trip before getting to me and not picking up calls.”
The actress’s post sparked criticism, with numerous users calling out the company.

In a subsequent post, Adunni mentioned that Njoku handed over her package following the company’s decision to restrict his profile.
She also posted screenshots of her chats with Njoku and her fashion designer, who dispatched the package.
In the screenshots she posted, the driver confronted her for supposedly tarnishing his reputation and warned of legal action.
“You have made nonsense of my image and I have contacted my legal team and we will see you in court. You are not the person that requested the ride. Many human rights lawyers and activists have called me and I won’t let it go that way. You must render an unreserved apology and ask Instablog to pull the post down.”
Reacting to the threat, Adunni Ade said “One thing about me is I don’t lie nor cheat my fellow beings. When we speak of change, let it start with you. In my whole adult life of ordering and delivering or using services of logistic companies, I have never encountered anyone as rude, ill-mannered, arrogant, uncivilized, and entitled as Frances Njoku.”
