Bayern Munich delivered a commanding performance on Tuesday night, crushing Dinamo Zagreb 9-2 in a UEFA Champions League match in Germany.

England international Harry Kane stole the show with a remarkable four-goal haul, propelling Bayern to an emphatic victory at the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarian giants wasted little time imposing themselves, with Serge Gnabry finding the net early in the 16th minute.

However, celebrations were halted as referee Juan Martinez Munuera called for a VAR check, ultimately disallowing the goal due to offside.

Just minutes later, Bayern was awarded a penalty, which Kane confidently converted to give his side a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute.

Bayern continued to dominate, with Jamal Musiala providing the assist for Raphael Guerreiro, who doubled their lead with a precise strike into the top left corner in the 33rd minute.

Five minutes later, Michael Olise added to Dinamo’s woes, finishing a close-range header to make it 3-0 before halftime.

Dinamo showed resilience early in the second half, with Bruno Petkovic pulling one back in the 49th minute after expertly controlling a pass from Marko Pjaca and firing into the bottom right corner.

Just a minute later, Takuya Ogiwara added a second, capitalising on a quick pass to bring the score to 3-2 and briefly spark hopes of a comeback.

However, Bayern responded swiftly, with Kane seizing on a rebound inside the box to restore their two-goal cushion in the 57th minute. Just three minutes later, Kane was back on the scoresheet with a well-placed shot following another rebound, putting Bayern 5-2 ahead.

Despite a VAR review, the goal stood, and Bayern regained full control of the match.

Kane completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute, sending Dinamo goalkeeper Ivan Nevistic the wrong way with a clinical strike.

Five minutes later, Kane scored his fourth, converting another penalty with an unstoppable shot into the left corner, bringing the score to 7-2.

Bayern’s dominance didn’t stop there. Leroy Sane added an eighth goal with a stunning effort from the edge of the box in the 85th minute, and Leon Goretzka capped off the night with a perfectly placed header from a Joshua Kimmich lofted pass in stoppage time to seal the 9-2 demolition.
